Strawberry, Mint, and Lemon Water Detox DrinkMakes 2 Liters

  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 15 strawberries quartered
  • 5 mint leaves
  • 2 cups of ice
  • Water

In a large pitcher, add the lemon and strawberries. Over the pitcher squeeze and slightly twist the mint, do not tear apart you only want to gently release the oils, add the mint leaves to the fruit. Top with ice and water. Let the pitcher sit in the fridge for 1 hour before serving.

When the water is down to 1/4 full in the pitcher, refill with water and place back in the fridge. You can do this several times. Store Strawberry, Mint, and Lemon Water Detox Drink in the fridge up to 24 hours.

    will try making this too, but i have questions, hope u could help with the answers hehe… can this be drink at room temperature? ’cause if i bring this to school/work it’s no longer cool then, can all fruits and herbs that use to make this water save to drink at room temperature or just some fruits and some have to be stored in refrigerator? if yes may i know which are can’t and can? thanks^^

    Is faucet water okay to make infused water,if not what do you recommend

      PJ, faucet water will work fine. The fruit flavors will help mask the chemicals in the tap water well and there’s no evidence bottled water is necessarily better for you. The important thing is to DRINK, DRINK, DRINK (water)!

      Hi Libby,

      According to the Mayo clinic, men should try to drink about 3 liters of water a day and women should drink about 2.2 liters. Fruit infused water counts towards your daily water intake goal, so enjoy!

      I work for a weight loss clinic and we tell our patients you should divide your weight by 2 and that’s how many ounces of water you should have for the day.

      For example, if someone weighs 140 pounds, they should be drinking 70 ounces of water per day!

      Yes, as long as not too much is used! Honey is a natural sweetener, but it still has sugar, so don’t use a whole lot!
